Westerkerk
Westerkerk is a renaissance-style church characterized by its austere interior and a décor basically composed of its organ.
The biggest attraction that has Westerkerk is its tower of 85 meters of height and its bell tower. In this one is a bell that weighs more than seven tons.
Tower climb
If you want to have the best panoramic views of Amsterdam, the Westerkerk Tower is undoubtedly the ideal place to get them.
The climb to the tower is done in groups of six people and it is necessary to reserve time at the entrance of Westerkerk, something we recommend to do as soon as possible so as not to have to wait too long.
The price of the entrance of the tower includes a guide (in English) that will accompany to you during the rise and whose explanations will offer you a deeper vision of the construction of the church and its tower.
Highly Recommended
While the climb to the tower is exciting and recommended, the visit to the interior of the church does not have much interest, although it has the advantage of being free.
You can combine the visit with the House of Anne Frank, located a few meters.
